Halo Infinite's bots aren't actually teabagging, per 343 Industries

Halo Space is set to get in subsequently this twelvemonth, bringing a long list of new features to the multiplayer suite, such every bit bots. During the contempo Halo Infinite technical preview, many players saw different behaviors from the bots, including the infamous "teabagging." Speaking with Eurogamer, developer 343 Industries says that while information technology may have looked that fashion, it was actually a movement-based bug.

"An instance of what could expect like teabagging is a problems with bot traversal that was in the technical preview build," 343 said. "It acquired bots to neglect to successfully spring and crawl on the edge of stairs or ramps. A bot'southward anxiety would leave the ground very briefly, then play a landing animation when they failed the spring, and they'd get stuck in an animation loop that could look like crouching quickly. If that happened to be observed shortly after a kill, or virtually a player's body, information technology can definitely feel like an intentional behaviour. In reality, the bot was just struggling to go upward the stairs."
